Designed around an old mother of pearl shell inlayed panel. Cabinet, drawers and brush rack
were made following this theme, with the use of old mahogany and rosewood. The cabinet needed to
house the contents supplied.

paper knife. Rose mahogany huncal ink dish and black wattle brush rest.

Figured Australian red cedar veneered onto cedar carcass. Solid curved top. Key escutchion made from
old ivory piano key.

Australian rose mahogany carcass with exposed dove tailed corners. Diamond pattern Australian red cedar and
rose mahogany inlayed top with silky oak border. Cedar edge banding, feet and lower moulding. Brass key
escutchion.

Australian red cedar veneer on ply carcass with blackwood panels bordered in ebony stringing. Cock
beaded drawers edge banded in blackwood with knobs turned from Tagua nut.

- Timbers are recycled, second hand or plantation grown.
- Most joints are exposed to show the honesty of the piece and give aesthic balance.
- Measurements are based on goldern section to give visual and geometric proportion.
- The finishes are french polished and waxed. Where possible the original patination
is retained on old timbers.
